Terms of use of the online store

These Terms of Use are an integral part of the distance agreement, which the parties conclude on the basis of a customer's order on our online trading platform www.s2.lv.

By placing an order, the customer confirms that he has read, understood and agrees to the Terms of Use.

The client is not allowed to order goods in our online store www.s2.lv if the client has not read and agreed to the Terms of Use.

The conditions published on the S2 website are part of the sales contract.

Terms

The owner of the Internet trading platform WWW.S2.LV is SIA "S2", reg. 45403021630, legal address, Rūpniecības iela 11B, Aizkraukle, Aizkraukles novads, LV-5101, Latvia, which offers and sells goods to the buyer in the course of its economic activity in accordance with these terms of use;

  • Customer - a natural or legal person ordering goods from S2, who has reached the age of 18 and has unlimited legal capacity to be able to enter into a contractual relationship with S2.
  • S2 – Internet point of sale www.s2.lv, which the customer uses to place an order;
  • Delivery - delivery of goods ordered by the buyer to the address specified in the buyer's order;

Ordering

Goods can be ordered on the website www.s2.lv using the website's shopping cart system. Registration is not required to place orders.

Goods can also be ordered using an order request by sending it to the e-mail address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

When placing an order, one must specify the products and the exact delivery address, the type of payment, and the contact phone number.

Upon receipt of the goods, please check whether you have received the selected goods in the appropriate packaging and quality.

Payment Options

The goods must be paid for in advance on the basis of an invoice for prepayment, which the buyer receives after confirmation of the order. Prepayment can be paid by non-cash payment via Internet banking or using services at a bank branch.

Prepayment can be paid using third-party services - PAYPAL and a bank card. When using PAYPAL, an additional fee (a fee used to pay for third-party payment processing services) will be calculated and will be accurately indicated at checkout in the shopping cart. The fee for using the PAYPAL service is 3% of the transaction amount. If the right of withdrawal is exercised, this commission is returned.

It is possible to pay at the S2 warehouse in Aizkraukle, st. Rūpniecības 11, by bank card (no additional fee).

The customer can only pay with the payment methods listed in the S2 payment methods menu. Payment must be made before receiving the goods.

Collection and delivery

For an additional fee, offers delivery of goods in accordance with the list of delivery methods throughout Latvia and the European Union, using a supplier of the buyer's choice.

S2 offers to receive the goods in our warehouse on weekdays from 8:00 to 17:00.

S2 tries to do everything to ensure that each order is completed in full, however, due to the lack of certain goods at the time of order fulfillment, S2 does not guarantee that all goods ordered by the Customer will be in stock and will be delivered.

Delivery is carried out to the address indicated by the Buyer when placing the order. S2 will deliver the Customer's order to the main entrance at the delivery address. At the request of the Customer, the supplier may deliver the order to the delivery address, for example, to a certain floor in an apartment building, only if:

  • the supplier has the Customer's consent;
  • Our supplier believes that it is safe and practical to comply with the Customer's request. S2 always reserves the right to deliver the order to the main entrance at the address.

To deliver customers to a business address, S2 can only deliver to the main entrance on the ground floor of the facility.

Warranty

  • The guarantee is valid upon presentation of a document confirming the purchase of the goods (check, waybill, VAT order, receipt or payment order certified by the bank).
  • During the warranty period, the goods are accepted to the S2 warehouse. The costs associated with the delivery of the goods to the S2 warehouse are borne by the buyer if the goods were delivered by the Omniva parcel service, where a free return of the goods is possible.
  • The goods specified in S2 may not correspond to the received goods in shape and color due to the peculiarities of the technical means used to fulfill the Customer's order, or due to other reasonably expected inconsistencies.
  • The product manufacturer and/or distributor is responsible for all information about the features of the S2 product. S2 is solely responsible for providing this information and Clients, unless otherwise provided by law.
  • The customer has the right to unilaterally exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days from the date of receipt of the order. The right of withdrawal may be exercised in accordance with the law, these Terms of Use and other applicable terms issued by S2. The customer is responsible for the costs associated with the return of such orders.
  • S2 has the right to demand from the Customer, in case of refusal of the goods, to return it to the S2 warehouse from which the delivery was made or indicated by the S2 support service specialist. All costs associated with the return of goods are borne by the buyer.
  • When returning products to the store, they must be undamaged, in their original packaging, unopened. If the customer fails to meet these requirements, S2 reserves the right not to pay the customer for the returned item.
  • If the Client, after receiving the order, determines that the goods in the order are damaged and / or of inadequate quality, the Client applies to S2 with a statement, which is accompanied by a photo of the damaged goods, and S2 will arrange a refund to the Client's account from which the purchase was made. S2 reserves the right to require the Customer to return all damaged goods to the warehouse from which the delivery was made.
  • S2 does not bear additional responsibility for other possible losses of the buyer related to damage to the goods.

The procedure for making purchases in the online store "S2.LV" was determined by the Republic of Latvia on May 28, 2002. Rules of the MC of the Republic of Latvia No. No. 207 "Regulations on the distance contract".
